Situated in the Strathearn valley, Perthshire, two miles from the country town of Crieff, Highlandman Station provides an excellent base for those wanting to explore Scotland.
Perthshire position whereby it straddles the Highland Boundary Faultline has resulted in it boasting some of Scotland’s most beautiful and diverse scenery. This is where the gentler, undulating landscape of the Lowlands meets with the majestic Highland terrain.
Edinburgh and Glasgow International airports are about an hour's drive. The nearest railway stations are at Perth, Gleneagles, Dunblane and Stirling (all within half an hour's drive).
From James Square in the centre of Crieff, travel South down King Street until reaching Gallowhill and turn left into Broich Road (B8062). Travel for approximately 1.5 miles after which you will find the entrance to The Highlandman Station B & B on the right hand side with wooden fence. Travelling West from Perth (A85) towards Crieff, pass through Gilmerton and then turn left at the Highlandman Loan junction which is reached approx 1/2 mile after exiting Gilmerton. Head South for one mile, crossing over the road junction and then continue on for a further mile before turning right towards Crieff (B8062). Ignore the cul de sac - The Highlandman Station B & B is the last house in the hamlet with wooden fence.
